Load triangle reinforcements:
This week I found the material I want to use for the load triangle reinforcement. I figured out how and drew up a detailed plan for the assembly of the load triangle.
A sail repair shop had a thick weave polyester 60 gram per meter sailcloth I needed. In order to keep the edges of the reinforcement from fraying I decided to cut the shapes out with a hot knife. I used a modified soldering iron to cut out a few arcs and circles for strength testing. The reinforcement turned out to be more than strong enough.
